H&T launched its new 100G ZR4 QSFP28 high-speed optical module HT-100G-QSFP-ZR4 for 80km high-speed data center interconnect and routing applications, which has passed rigorous customer testing in multi-country data centers and has been delivered in small quantities with stable operation and quality praised by customers.

The 100G ZR4 QSFP28 high-speed optical module HT-100G-QSFP-ZR4 leverages widely deployed 4 x 25G NRZ optics, the 100G ZR4 QSFP28 is the company's leading 100/200/400G single-mode transceiver in its leading 100/200/400G single-mode transceiver portfolio for data center and routing applications the latest addition to the 100G product line.

  Cloud traffic continues to drive growth in data centers, and the industry requires cost-effective and high-bandwidth interoperability solutions. the HT-100G-QSFP-ZR4 is a cost-optimized, low-power optical transceiver module that supports 100G Ethernet and scales up to 80 km transmission distance, providing a point-to-point network connectivity solution between data centers or central offices without deploying complex, power-hungry and expensive coherent solutions or traditional CFP/CFP2 interfaces. 100G ZR4 QSFP28 alleviates the bottleneck of fiber shortage and enables hyper-scale cloud operators to scale their networks.

  The HT-100G-QSFP-ZR4 optical module features a QSFP28 form factor and is the smallest of the 100G 80km solutions. It is fully compliant with the industry standard QSFP28 and associated MSA as described in the latest SFF-8665/8636, and provides digital diagnostics via an I2C interface. the HT-100G-QSFP-ZR4 is also compliant with the IEEE 802.3 100GBASE-ZR4 related specification. In addition, the HT-100G-QSFP-ZR4 module supports the standard KR4 FEC (Forward Error Correction) baud rate, which will help detect and correct bit errors at the receiving end and improve the overall quality of the link. No optical amplification and dispersion compensation are required.
