EPON has bus structure, tree structure, ring structure and star structure. For the intelligent community with high access rate, the tree structure should be used in the construction of networking, which is conducive to reducing the access cost. In terms of transmission, EPON with tree structure adopts point to multipoint (p2mp) single fiber bidirectional optical access network, and its topology is shown in the figure below.
OLT (optical line terminal equipment) is a terminal equipment for connecting optical fiber trunk lines. Its function is to provide the interface between the access network and the local switch, and completely separate the switch function from the user access. On the one hand, the signals carrying various services are converged at the office end and sent to the access network according to a certain signal format for transmission to the end user; on the other hand, the signals from the end user are respectively sent to various service networks according to the service types.
ONU (optical network unit) is a device that connects with OLT through POS passive optical splitter. The function of the device is to terminate the optical fiber from OLT, put it in the user's station, and provide the interface of the user side terminal equipment for the access network. The network end of ONU is optical interface, and the user end is electrical interface. Therefore, ONU has electrical / optical and optical / electrical conversion functions, as well as corresponding monitoring and maintenance functions.
ODN (optical distribution network) is the general term of the lines and devices set between the optical line terminal (OLT) and the optical network unit (ONU) in the optical access network, which is used to distribute the optical signal power and provide the physical channel for optical signal transmission between OLT and ONU.
2、 Fiber to home networking scheme in Intelligent Community
The EPON networking mode not only simplifies the routing in the community, but also reduces the repeated and complex cabling construction of each system. At the same time, because the optical fiber can provide large bandwidth, the cable television broadcasting, broadband and telephone access are well realized in the access network, as shown in the figure below.
The whole FTTH broadband access network consists of OLT, optical fiber network and ONU. OLT is a multi service centralized control unit, which is mainly responsible for bandwidth control, authentication management, fault capture, and the distribution of data and video broadcast signals after they are converted into optical signals. OLT supports the division of virtual private network (VLAN). Single mode fiber is used in the fiber network of the cell. ONU is a multi service user unit, which completes photoelectric signal conversion in the user's home and provides high-speed data, bypass voice and video services for the user. In view of the current situation of household living equipment, in the functional configuration of ONU, it is better to ensure that each household has four network interfaces (each network interface rate is about 100mbit · s-1), two telephone interfaces and one cable TV interface. Each network port, telephone port and TV port can be controlled separately, which is convenient for billing and management.
EPON network is adopted, and the integrated three networks provide their own services for the residents of the community in a new way. Meanwhile, they also build a mature and open access platform for the community, so that the subsystems of the intelligent community can play a coordinated and unified role.
3、 Main materials of optical fiber home entry system
3.1. The FTTH information box adopts the specification of 400 * 300 * 250mm, which needs to be equipped with network switch, TV interface and voice interface, and one strong current plug-in; it is installed at a height of one meter above the ground, and the strong current, network cable, optical fiber, telephone line, cable TV line syv75-5 and other line pipes are reserved to the weak current box. The line pipes need to be reserved with leads to ensure the normal embedded pipes, and ensure the completion of the protection The pipe orifice shall be blocked and protected, and the embedded pipe shall be straight as much as possible without excessive bending, which may cause more difficulty in threading in the later stage.
3.2. Fiber Drop cable: more than 2-core drop cable is only used. Thedrop cable needs to strengthen core protection, that is, there should be steel wire in the leather fiber optic cable, so it can protect the leather fiber optic cable, and it is not easy to be pulled or broken; when threading the leather fiber optic cable, try to keep breaking, and the optical fiber is easy to break, so the integrity of the drop cable protection sleeve should be ensured. Generally, there are 1-core, 2-core, and 4-core models for drop cable.
3.3. The optical fiber distribution box on the floor shall be numbered as a whole before construction, including those in the room, so as to facilitate label identification in the later stage, including the indoor sheath optical fiber for numbering, and to summarize the floors, which shall be clear and clear, so as to facilitate the construction and setting out and not cause confusion in the later stage. When installing the optical fiber branching standard, try to be in the open place, convenient for maintenance, obvious place and easy to find. The optical fiber distribution box has 12 cores, 24 cores, 48 cores, 72 cores, 96 cores, 144 cores, 244 cores and 488 cores.
3.4. The main optical cable or vertical optical cable shall be laid. Before the main optical cable is laid, the branch line shall be installed or the location of the branch box shall be determined. The heavy and straight and the horizontal trunking in the basement shall be constructed and connected to the weak current well of each building and summarized into the telecommunication room. The trunking shall be close to the trunking summarized into the telecommunication room. It is necessary to consider that too many line summary optical cables cause the small trunking problem In order to consider comprehensively, calculate the solution allowance of the trunking. Indoor optical cable shall be used for laying indoor main optical cable, which is convenient for construction; outdoor armored optical cable shall be laid for outdoor construction, which is conducive to protecting the safety of optical cable from being damaged. When laying optical cable, the quantity shall be good, which shall not be too long, too short, too long waste, and too short scrap. There are 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72, 96, 144 and 288 fiber cores for optical fiber cable, which are commonly used. If there are other cores, they need to be customized in the factory.
3.5. For the decoration of telecommunication room, it is necessary to conduct grounding, lightning protection, water-proof and rat proof work according to the decoration standard of the room. The equipment shall be installed stably, the identification label shall be clear and clear, the cabinet layout of the room shall be reasonable, and the fiber skipping and optical cable trunking shall be separated.
3.6. ODF cabinet and cabinet shall be installed with good spacing, which shall not be too small, and the spacing shall be more than 1000mm; the door plate of cabinet shall be opened before and after to facilitate maintenance and repair; the installation of cabinet shall be stable without looseness; the optical cable in cabinet shall be placed neatly and beautifully, and the optical fiber shall be protected by protective pipe when entering the optical fiber disk; the direction of optical fiber disk in cabinet shall be consistent and neat and beautiful, and the flange mouth shall be Do a good job in dust protection; the identification of optical fiber disk shall be clear, and the fusion diagram of optical fiber disk must be printed in the cabinet, which is consistent with the actual field distribution box, to ensure the correctness of optical fiber disk drawing, and to facilitate the later maintenance; the cabinet needs to be grounded; the cabinet needs to be well coiled and straightened for fiber jumping, and the redundant fiber jumping needs to be well coiled, neat and beautiful.
