The 800G OSFP 2×DR4 is a hot-pluggable transceiver compliant with the OSFP MSA, integrating two full 400G DR4 optical engines into one module. It operates over single-mode fiber (SMF) with PAM4 modulation, offering up to 2×400Gbps = 800Gbps total data throughput.

Key Advantages of 2×DR4 Architecture
Unlike a single 800G link, the 2×DR4 configuration contains two parallel and independent 400G DR4 optical paths. Each channel transmits 4×100G PAM4 over parallel fibers using MPO-12 connectors.
