Optical Fiber Cable Splice closure/joint closure is a junction protection device that provides optical, sealing and mechanical strength continuity between adjacent optical cables.
In the optical communication network, due to the limited length of optical cable and the need for branching of optical cable on the transmission line, there are optical cable joints. The optical cable junction box provides conditions for the connection and branching of optical cable and protects the joints.

User's Guide for 1-in-1-out 6~ 96cores In-line/horizontal optical cable splice closure:
1.1 fiber preparation
1. Remove the outer skin of the optical cable (if any, please remove the shielding and armor) and then remove each wrapping layer until the loose sleeve is exposed. For the specific method, please follow the standard method recommended by the optical cable manufacturer. The preparation length is 3M.
2. Clean the loose sleeve and the reinforced core sheath with detergent, remove the redundant filled sleeve, and polish the outer skin of the optical cable 150 mm long with the provided sandpaper.
1.2 optical cable installation
1. Select the sealing ring with the minimum inner diameter according to the outer diameter of the optical cable, and put two sealing rings on the optical cable.
2. Put the optical cable into the corresponding hole.
3. Connect shielding and grounding.
4. Wrap the self-adhesive sealing tape between the two sealing rings so that the sealing tape is wound flush with the outer diameter of the sealing ring to form a sealing end of the optical cable.
5. Press the sealing end of the optical cable into the hole.
6. Use the hose hoop to pass through the cable reinforcement fixing base and cable core support, fix the cable on the connector box base, and tighten the screw of the hose hoop until the hose hoop is tightened.
7. Tie a nylon cable tie on the cable and cut the remaining length.
8. Please use plug to seal other unused optical cable holes. The plug is also wrapped with sealing tape.
9. Wrap the reinforcing member on the countersunk screw of the welding plate support and press it tightly.
1.3 optical fiber connection
1. Prepare 1.5 turns of optical fiber after hanging, and then coil all the remaining fibers in the box.
2. Single core buffer tube shall be used for single core fiber hanging and ribbon buffer tube shall be used for ribbon fiber hanging. Fasten with nylon tie at the inlet of the welding plate.
