Description:

H&T design a special pedestal for FTTX project. The pedestal offers two-stage environmental protection of fiber optic loop distribution cable and customer service drops in FTTX deployments. This two-stage protection is accomplished by housing a weather-tight interior enclosure within the confines of a non-metallic buried distribution pedestal. We can put the terminal boxes with 2fibers to 48fibers inside the pedestal.

What is fiber pedestal?

H&T plays a critical role in enabling service providers to build reliable, cost-effective fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks.  H&T’ comprehensive line of fiber pedestals offers environmentally-protected access points along the entire last mile of the fiber network.

H&T's Fiber Pedestals are designed to provide users maximum flexibility in splicing technologies and feature a non-metallic construction that offers superior OSP protection against floods, fire, dirt, insects and impact.
