Hotcom launches a series of 25G SFP28 optical modules suitable for 5G forward transmission

2019/10/10 23:38:02

In 2019, in the critical period of global 5G commercial deployment, Hotcom takes 5G business development as one of the core strategies of the company's development. With the help of excellent vertical integration capability of the industrial chain and optical device packaging capability, we will launch 25G SFP28 series optical modules, including 25G LR, 25G BIDI, 25G ER, 25G CWDM, 25G DWDM and other products, to support 5G applications, and to fully commercialize 5G technology in China. Ready for use.

1. 25G SFP28 LR Industrial Transceiver
The industrial SFP28 LR module is produced. The module satisfies SFP+MSA with a maximum rate of 28G. It supports multi-rate selection and 10km transmission. It satisfies 25G Ethernet and eCPRI protocol. The maximum power consumption is 1.2W. It supports transmission and wireless applications.

2. 25G DWDM SFP28 industrial transceiver
25G DWDM series optical modules adopt EML+PIN/APD device scheme. At present, 10 km and 30 km transmission distance are available for customers to choose. Hotcom takes the lead in introducing 25G DWDM series optical modules supporting C-band full wavelength and 1286.66 nm~1309.14 nm O-band 8 band to support wireless and transmission applications.

3. 25G CWDM SFP28 Transceiver
CWDM SFP28 module uses standard SFP + package, full 25G Ethernet and eCPRI/CPRI protocol to support CWDM link transmission and communication with designated 100G CWDM4 MSA single channel. There are two alternatives to support this module, with support distances of 10 km or 20 km, respectively. The maximum power consumption of 10KM CWDM SFP28 receiver is 1.5W and that of 20KM CWDM SFP28 receiver is 2W. Both schemes support 1270, 1290, 1310, 1330, 1350 and 1370 nm central wavelengths. In the development of other wavelengths, which is expected to be produced in small batches in Q3.

4. 25G BIDI SFP28 Transceiver
BIDI SFP28 module is encapsulated with SFP+and single-fiber bidirectional design makes the delay of transceiver consistent, which can save optical fiber and benefit the cost control of customers. BIDI SFP28 has 9dB and 14.5dB link budgets for customers to choose from. The 9dB link budget scheme supports 10km single-mode optical fiber transmission with 1330nm/1270nm DFB laser at the origin and PIN receiver at the receiver, with a maximum power consumption of 1.2W. The 14.5dB link budget scheme supports 20km single-mode optical fiber transmission with 1330nm/1270nm DFB laser at the origin and APD receiver at the receiver, with a maximum power consumption of 1.5W.
