Background

In today's highly developed network, mobile communication has become a hot technology with high development potential and wide market prospect in the contemporary communication field, and various vendors are continuously launching new technologies to quickly seize the dominant position. In order to expand network coverage and allow more users to better enjoy wireless services, operators are stepping up the construction of base stations. However, there are certain challenges in the construction of base stations.
● The huge number of base stations means high construction investment, site support, site lease and maintenance cost, and building more base stations means more capital expenditure and operation expenditure.
● The difficulty of choosing the site for base stations is a very important factor in addition to the current density of base stations, the general public's awareness of their own health and environmental protection is also a very important influence. Server room resources are necessary for station site resources, however, they are becoming more and more difficult to obtain; a large number of access server rooms in the existing network cannot meet the demand for server rooms for traditional-style network construction.

Introduction of Passive Wavelength Division Network Solution
The following will be divided into 3 scenarios to introduce the application of passive WDM solutions.

Scenario 1: Point-to-point, double-star network

● The distance between BBU and RRU sites is far >1KM.
● Support the distance between BBU and RRU in the range of 1~70KM.
● Scenarios where there is no condition for new fiber laying in areas with scarce fiber resources.

Scenario 2: Multi-service integrated access, dual-star network

● Access to wireless sites such as GSM, TD, LTE, etc.
● Remote site service access such as PTN, IP MAN, etc.

Scenario 3: Tunnel, room division, chain type network
